Artisans, Crafters, Occasional Vendors and Specialty Items
Crafter/Artisans/ Occasional Prepared Food or Hot Food Vendor may apply to participate in the weekly markets
Still accepting vendors for 2025 through January (2026)
2026 Application NOW OPEN - Dates Start February 2026
Living Smart offers Artisans and Crafters the opportunity to sell their hand made and home made art and artisanal products in the markets. In the second paragraph, add another sentence that says: Occasional vendors who sell home made items/foods that are permitted by the Sacramento Environmental Health Department who want to participate in the markets “occasionally” (and cannot commit to year round participation in the markets).
Artisans and crafters are defined as businesses that handcraft at least 70% of what they sell at their booth; we do not allow any resale/multi-level marketing/distribution. Specialty Items would include skincare, essential oils, CBD products and soap.
Vendors will be required to provide all of their own set up materials, pop up, tables etc. Living Smart does not provide pop up rentals, or onsite electricity. If you need electricity, you will need to provide your own generator.
In addition, Living Smart offers special events in conjunction with the farmers markets to include additional family friendly activities, craft fairs, food trucks and more. These "extra" special days at the market offers crafter/artisans the opportunity to reach more customers.
We are presently taking reservations for 2025-26 markets. To apply and book your dates, please follow the link below to book your dates for rest of 2025 (through January 2026) - 2026 Application dates start February 2026. To apply please click the button below.
All craft/occasional/specialty vendors will also be required to have "Farmers Market Vendor Insurance" to participate as a vendor at the markets and listing Living Smart as an additional insured. You will require liability insurance up to $500,000. Please select the correct vendor type when selecting insurance. If you sell food, that's different than a vendor that sells handmade crafts. We recommend Insurance Canopy, Campbell Risk or Flip Insurance companies. All of them can be found online, and policies can be purchased directly through them on line.
Please Note: Before bookings can be confirmed, NEW Vendors will need to be approved to participate and pre-pay for booked dates. Once approved, vendors can apply for as many dates and events they'd like for the year. Questions? Please email us!
